High level of security

Because of completelly rewritting all PHP-Nuke source codes from scratch, we fix big amount of security vulnerabilities (such as SQL injections, Cross Site Scriptting, Script injections and others).
Also, our new originally designed and written authorization scheme dramatically improve security and protect your site before password's hash injection - the most common used hacking method for PHP-Nuke.
Unlike other CMS this authorization scheme forbid to login administrators without knowledge of real password (not only password's hash).

eXtremely fast

UNITED-NUKE is extremely fast. In comparison to PHP-Nuke, UNITED-NUKE saves big amount of database server resources, because he requires for the same action less SQL queries. Also, UNITED-NUKE requires less webserver system memory, because he continuously frees allocated memory for database result sets and uses database aggregate functions.
In the table below are compared requirements of UNITED-NUKE and PHP-Nuke in some specific actions.

As you can see in table, UNITED-NUKE requires for the same action ~5x less SQL queries to database server.
Please take a note, that all components of UNITED-NUKE are hardly optimized (not only modules) - if you, for example, activate some block(s), the difference in the number of SQL queries will be bigger in behalf of UNITED-NUKE.

Possibility to use thousands of add-ons

UNITED-NUKE is fully compatible with add-ons originally designed for PHP-Nuke. It means, that you can use any of thousands add-ons available for PHP-Nuke such as new blocks, modules and themes.
Also, UNITED-NUKE contains module with special ported phpBB bulletin board (not BBtoNuke) with excellent phpBB MODs compatibility and valid W3C HTML 4 support!

Extended multi-language support

UNITED-NUKE has better multi-language support. Unlike PHP-Nuke, all times and dates are formatted in selected language.

eXtensible template system

Since 1.1 version of this system, it is possible to make new themes only by modifying (X)HTML templates files like you know from phpBB template system. You don't need to be good PHP programmer to make new themes!

WYSIWYG Editors support

UNITED-NUKE has special plugin interface for WYSIWYG Editors.
Note: We have a original written WYSIWYG Editors (Lite and Professional), but these add-ons are not yet international - we will make english support soon.

Texy! support

Texy! is text to formatted HTML converter. In this time, Texy! is especially for czech language. David Grudl (author of this extension) is working on international support. We hope will be available soon, because Texy! is really powerfull tool.
Note: Texy! is disabled by default.

Freedom of choice

If you upgrade from PHP-Nuke you are not depending on UNITED-NUKE forever, because structure of existed database tables is not modified. You can switch back to PHP-Nuke in any time you want!

Quich response on problems and bugs

UNITED-NUKE's users don't need to wait for the new version to fix a bugs - for stable series are continuously released updated versions of UNITED-NUKE (e.g. 4.2.01ms2) which fixes all reported bugs and problems.
